In addition to the panels which controlled specific aspects of a rocket stage, the Firing Room contained various panels and monitors which displayed summary information about the events going on in a countdown and launch sequence. 

It is interesting to note that some of the panels for the Saturn IB launches of Skylab and ASTP appear to be repurposed from Saturn V launches. The clearest example is the RANGE SAFETY SUPERVISION panel on this page. On it, “S-IB” on metal tape was placed over what was likely an S-IC label, and the S-II section of indicator lamps have had the labels removed, although the S-II designation (which only applied to Saturn V launch vehicles) still remains over the blank column of lights.
