This section provides close-up photographs of the all of the Firing Room control panels and equipment that I have been able to locate.  Each album contains control panels relevant to a given stage of the Saturn IB or Saturn V rocket.  Where possible, the functions of each panel are explained in more detail.  A pointer to the panel’s location in the Firing Room and context photo will also be provided where possible.

To the best of my knowledge, the control panels illustrated in this website all came from the Kennedy Space Center Launch Control Center.  Many of them were photographed in the Apollo 8 exhibit at the KSC Saturn V Center.  These panels came from the earlier Visitors Center, and were all pulled from at least one of the Firing Rooms.

The remainder are in the hands of private collectors, and all appear to have ultimately originated from the collection of Charlie Bell, a retired NASA engineer who purchased a tremendous amount of scrapped material from NASA. He had intended to create a museum, but he died before getting one started. His immense collection was auctioned off.
